Coronica's Story
Coronica Williams was a woman of extraordinary grace, resilience, and purpose. A devoted wife, loving mother of two beautiful children, and a cherished sister, she carried her many roles with unwavering love and integrity. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her impact continues to echo in the lives she touched.

As an educator, Coronica valued every student she encountered. She didn’t just teach—she nurtured potential, demanded excellence, and inspired loyalty through her high expectations and unshakable belief in others. Her classroom was more than a place of learning; it was a space of transformation.

Coronica was a trailblazer in every aspect of her life. She held numerous degrees, each one a testament to her tireless pursuit of excellence and growth. Whether in education, leadership, or service, she consistently broke barriers and raised standards—always with humility and precision. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a dedicated church leader at Browns Chapel AME Zion Church, Coronica served in various roles, bringing light, wisdom, and compassion to every ministry she touched. She was also a pillar in the community, deeply involved in service and outreach, giving back with an open heart and a generous spirit.

Coronica was gifted in countless ways—creative, intelligent, and deeply talented. Everything she touched bore the mark of her expertise and perfection. Yet, despite all her accomplishments, she remained grounded in love, affection, and compassion.

Her final words, “God will take care of you,” reflected the faith that anchored her and the comfort she shared with so many during her life. Those words now carry her spirit forward, reminding us of the strength, hope, and care she embodied.

The Coronica Williams Bridge to Purpose Scholarship honors her enduring legacy—a legacy built on love, education, service, faith, and the belief that everyone has a purpose worth fighting for.
